Midlothian based company  Arthur Mackay are being hailed as local heroes, as the building support services company, announced that they are extending their sponsorship links with Midlothian swimming club. Our sports club is a growing competitive team that provides youngsters with the opportunity to take part in a healthy sport and to reach their full swimming potential. The company has supported the club on an ad hoc basis over the past few years, but has formalised it’s links with the club to become our primary sponsor.

Arthur Mackay was established in 1958, employs over 900 employees and has a turnover of £90 million. The company has a hard-earned reputation for excellence, in all aspects of facilities management. Based in the headquarters in Edinburgh with additional offices in Glasgow, Carlisle,  Halifax and London. They have  held the contract to provide Hard Facilities Management services to all public buildings within Midlothian Council’s portfolio since 2008. Setting  up a planned maintenance regime, tailored to Midlothian Council needs, Arthur McKay ensures that all buildings it is responsible for, have all the relevant certification to ensure compliance with  statutory legislative requirements.  Demonstrating high standards of customer care, and value for money, which sets them apart from other competitors.

Arthur Mackay has given our club additional financial backing, so that the team has branded kit to wear when travelling to international training camps and competitions throughout the 2015/2016 season. They will also be sponsors of one of the age group trophies for the Annual Club Championships. The trophy will be presented at the annual presentation dance, which will be held in February.

Denise Golder, club president, expressed the thoughts of everyone at the club saying ” We are very thankful for the support and commitment of Arthur Mackay. It is appreciated by everyone involved with the club and it’s even better knowing a local company are willing to help us out financially. As a club, we nurture talent and know all about teamwork, and commitment which are all goals matched by our sponsor. We are glad Arthur Mackay are investing in the future talent of our youngsters, who are part of a winning team, which has a great history of success and a bright future.”
