Midlothian Swimming Club

Midlothian are Minnows Champions 2011

This year’s minnows Meet was held at Prestonpans on 4th June 2011 and for the first time involved swimmers from all 4 competitive squads.

Competing against clubs from Fife, the Borders, West Lothian and a strong looking Bo’ness team, our swimmers knew that they would have to perform really well to win the top club award.

They responded magnificently winning a total of 11 Gold, 13 Silver and 9 Bronze medals. Many more swimmers finished in points winning positions and the combined effect was that Midlothian claimed the Minnows Trophy comfortably in the end. In all, 72% of the swims were personal best times.
