Bronze Squad – Carnegie Meet 20th February 2010

Bronze Squad Carnegie Meet  20th February 2010    Venue: Fife institute Glenrothes

This was the first meet of the year for Bronze group and the meet was heavily oversubscribed as the ranking was high therefore there were very few of the Bronze squad accepted.  Lauren Sutherland, Beth McFarlane and Louis Crosland were the swimmers from the group accepted and was a challenge for them as they are so used to swimming 50m swims and as this was a 100m swim competition and it was a challenge for them.

The 100m Fly Lauren produced over a second PB, Beth a 4 second PB and place 3rd and picking up a bronze medal.

Back stroke Lauren 6seconds PB.

Breast stroke Louis a 1 second PB, Beth 13 second PB and placed 2nd and picking up a silver medal also breaking the 10years 100m breast stroke club record.

Freestyle 2 second PB.

Well done to the 3 swimmers of Bronze squad.
